Eco-pasture in Haute-Vienne, Dordogne and Charente
We practise pasture in west Haute-Vienne, est Charente and north Dordogne.
We own goats and sheep. A large proportion of these animals come from farms. So we give them a peaceful end to their lives.
We take care of everything, from installing the fencing, transporting and setting up the herd, to medical monitoring, grazing management and insurance management.
Using eco-pasture can reduce the cost of maintaining a green space by up to 30% compared with using conventional tools.
The Eco-Pasturing
This age-old practice is environmentally friendly, quiet and economical, and can be adapted to different types of terrain. Whether you use goats or sheep, your green spaces can be grazed from meadows to steep cliffs and orchards.
Thanks to annual management of the plots, the results are identical to the use of a lawnmower. Eco-pasturing also helps to recreate a bond with animals, and to create areas of curiosity and wonder.

Animal monitoring
The herd is monitored by a referral veterinarian. Each grazing area has a drinking trough and shelters. No animal is put out to pasture on its own, in order to protect its welfare.

Insurance & assistance
A declared and insured activity. Animals are protected by fixed or mobile fencing.

When drawing up an quotation, we take into account the surface area, the difficulty of access, etc. :
- An investment budget for the equipment needed to install on the site. By way of example, this can vary from €10 to €15 per linear metre of fixed fencing, plus the cost of a shelter for the animals, approximately €100.
- An operating budget for annual or one-off monitoring. This varies from €1 to €0.15 per square metre, depending on the area to be grazed.

About us
Thibaut and Margaux have been based at Les Salles-Lavauguyon in the Haute-Vienne since 2020. It’s here that we’ve been practising eco-pasturing on our farm since 2022.
Our farm also has a nursery in the process of being set up, as well as a growing garden forest. All these areas are farmed using agro-forestry methods.
We take advantage of these areas to welcome cull animals, some of which accompany us in our eco-pasturing services.
